Cancellation and Returns
Trade Electric Gates UK is under no obligation to accept a cancellation of an order once it has been accepted and dispatched by the company.
Where a cancellation or amendment to an order is agreed, items must be returned to us at the customer’s own expense. Please ensure that goods are packaged up adequately to protect from damage. Goods must be returned unused, in original packaging and fit for resale.
Items damaged during installation are not covered under warranty. Any damaged item will be inspected by the manufacturer to determine the cause of the fault. Replacement items will not automatically be issued until after inspection, and only if a report of faulty goods has been received.
Refunds will not be authorised if items or saleable packaging are marked or damaged in any way, including blister packs of componants.
Orders of custom made goods cannot be cancelled.
Goods must be returned within 7 days of delivery.
On receipt of returns, the purchase cost for the original item LESS minimum 20% handling charge and original postage fee will be refunded to the customer’s card within 30 days.
Warranty items will be repaired or replaced, refund will not be given unless authorised by specific manufacturer in line with their terms and conditions.
Goods are supplied according to descriptions and specifications given by the manufacturer. Refunds will not be authorised if the item is deemed unsuitable for your requirements, unless expressly stated so on the website.
If an error has been made on our part, we will be happy to refund the full amount and the return delivery cost.
This policy does not affect your legal rights.
